Questions
Is logging free?
Yes. Logging, today’s allowance, history by day, week and month, and savings are free. The schedule that steps down week by week is Curb Pro, with a 14-day free trial on the yearly plan.
What happens on a day over?
The day counts as a day over, tomorrow’s allowance is still there, and the schedule carries on.
Why does a day start at 4 am?
So a late evening belongs to the evening it was lived in. Something logged at 1 am counts toward the evening before it, and the next day’s allowance is still whole when you wake up.
How do I log without opening the app?
Add the Curb widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen, or say “Hey Siri, log Caffeine in Curb”. On iOS 18 and later Curb is also a button for Control Center.
I bought Pro and it isn’t showing.
Open Settings → Curb Pro and tap Restore purchase. Pro follows your Apple ID, so it comes back on a new phone the same way.
How do I cancel or change Curb Pro?
Apple runs the subscription. In Curb, Settings → Curb Pro → Manage or cancel in App Store; or on your iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Curb never sees your card.
New phone?
On the old one, Settings → Export data writes a file you can keep. On the new one, Settings → Import from a backup reads it back. An iCloud backup of the phone carries Curb too.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. What you log lives only on your phone, so that removes it. The privacy page has the rest.
